STOCK MARKET REVIEW: 7th FEBRUARY 2012

The market today had a sideways movement today which later went down into the negative territory. Dragging Greece talks and profit booking lead the market down.

BSE Sensex ended at 17,622 down 84.86 points or 0.48% from the last close. It earlier touched a day's high of 17,832 and day’s low of 17,582.  NSE NIFTY closed at 5,335 down 26.50 points. The index hit an intra-day high of 5,413 and an intra-day low of 5,322.
The BSE Mid-Cap index lost 0.81% while the BSE Small-Cap index was down 0.44%.CNX MIDCAP 50 index lost 1.06% and S&P CNX 500 was down 0.66%.

The global economic scenario and the results of Indian corporate will guide the market.

KOTAK BANK changed 2.63%.With volume 10,80,000
CAIRN changed 2.45% with volume 4,307,000 and
ITC changed 1.51% with volume of 8,023,000.

Today’s nifty top losers were
BHEL changed -4.64% volumes 12,362,000
JP ASSOCIATE changed -4.32% with volume 14,000,000
TATASTEEL changed -3.76% with volume 34,594,000
