Nifty levels 5200-5400: Udayan Mukherjee

CNBC-TV-18 's Managing Editor, Udayan Mukherjee said Thursday that expiry of April series. Before the expiry Nifty will remain range-bound in 5200 * 5400.

Udayan Mukherjee said on Monday the Sensex closed at 17096.68 down 277.16 points, 1.71 per cent fall, while the Nifty closed at 5200.60. Nifty today's business during the 5200 boom can be seen best from the upper levels.

STOCK MARKET REVIEW: 24TH APRIL 2012

BSE Small-Cap index was down by 0.04% while the BSE Mid-Cap index finished 0.10% down.CNX MIDCAP 50 index was down 0.20% and S&P CNX 500 was up around 0.29%. The SENSEX closed 110 points up at 17,207 and the NIFTY stood at 5222, up by 22 points.

 BSE SENSEX and NIFTY bounced back on TUESDAY after losing more than 400 points in previous two sessions, shed a bit losses ended at 110 points up. The gains were well supported and hold by Tata Consultancy Services and Infosys up by 13 percent and 1.5 percent respectively. TCS shot up ahead of its better than expected results for fourth quarter FY 12 presented. It became the second largest company with the market cap of Rs 2, 34,700.16 crore followed by ONGC with market cap 2, 28, 859.36 crore. Software provider Wipro rose 4.44% on the session as results for JAN-MAR quarter to be announced on 25 April.
