NIFTY LEVELS AND MARKET REVIEW : 10 AUGUST 11


STOCK MARKET REVIEW 

CNX Midcap index was down 1.10% about while BSE small cap index also lost 2.05%. The market saw huge swings before closing the trade. India's volatility index hit an all-time high of 34.31 on global uncertainties. The 30-share BSESensex fell 132.27 points, to close at 16,857.91 after swinging 700 points. The 50-share NSE Nifty dropped 45.65 points, to end at 5,072.85. 

Finally, the BSE Sensex ended at 16,858 losing 132 points. It had earlier touched a day's high of 17,135 and a day's low of 16,432. It opened at 16,517. The NSE Nifty closed at 5,072 losing 46 points.

IT, Telecom, Metals and Pharma stocks were the top losers. The Mid-Cap and the Small-Cap stocks also closed lower.

Today’s Nifty Top gainers were:

M&M with volume and changes 47,47,917 and 4.72 %
AMBUJACEM with volume and changes 29,86,851 and 3.28 %
DLF with volume and changes 1,33,15,572 and 3.27 %


Today’s Nifty Top losers were:

RPOWER with volume and changes 72,37,303 and 6.84 %
RELINFRA with volume and changes 19,49,724 and 6.31 %
RCOM with volume and changes 89,01,586 and 5.12 %.

Nifty can be expected to follow down trend. It seems to be vary between 4960-5195

Indian Oil Corporation

Indian Oil Corporation has seen trading within the range of 335 to 344 on MONDAY. Expected levels for this script are as follow:

NIFTY LEVELS AND MARKET OVERVIEW : 9 AUGUST 11


STOCK MARKET REVIEW 

CNX Midcap index was down 1.27% about while BSE small cap index also lost 2.23%. The BSE Sensex ended at 16,990 losing 315 points. It had earlier touched a day's high of 17,247 and a day's low of 16,759 the renewed 52 week low. It opened at 16,907. The NSE Nifty closed at 5,119 losing 93 points it also touched the new 52 week low of 5,054.05.\

Today’s decline was mainly led by a selloff in Realty, IT, Telecom and Metals stocks. Power and Banking were other notable losers. Overall, the trade was highly negative with all the sectoral indices ending in the red. The Mid-Cap and the Small-Cap indices also witnessed heavy offloading.

Today’s Nifty Top gainers were:

M&M with volume and changes 25,64,829 and 2.70 %
PNB with volume and changes 3,20,716 and 2.27 %


Today’s Nifty Top losers were:

RPOWER with volume and changes 35,39,651 and 7.31 %.

NIFTY LEVELS ANF MARKET OVERVIEW : 08 AUGUST 2011


STOCK MARKET REVIEW 

CNX Midcap index was down 1.78 % about while BSE small cap index also lost 3.08 %.The BSE sensex finally closed at 17,305 made low of 387 points or 2.2% over the previous close and the nifty closed at 5211 after making the 52 week low of 5116.
It had earlier touched a 52 week low of 16,990.
The initial exultation over the US debt deal gave way to concerns about the health of the global economy. Adding up concerns have also surfaced over the adverse implications of the large spending cuts in US.

HINDALCO with volume and changes 1,15,05,554 and 1.52 %
ONGC with volume and changes 56,15,738 and 1.48 %

NIFTY LEVELS AND MARKET OVERVIEW : 26TH JULY 11


STOCK MARKET REVIEW

CNX Midcap index was up 0.75% about while BSE smallcap index also gained 0.50% The BSE Sensex was 18,871, up 149 points over the previous close. NSE Nifty was quoting 5,677, up 46 points over the previous close.

Markets extended rise for the second day after good gains in index heavyweights like RIL, Bharti Airtel, Reliance Communications, M&M, L&T. Auto, telecom, capital goods and pharma shares supported the markets. The Nifty hit highest level in more than two weeks.

Today’s Nifty Top gainer were  :

RCOM with volume and changes 3,15,61,087 and 13.84%

M&M with volume and changes 20,44,486 and  3.26%

AXISBANK with volume and changes 24,30,128 and  3.28%



Today’s Nifty Top losers were :

DAILY LEVEL AND MARKET OVERVIEW : 25 JULY 11


Nifty Spot Level
                                                                                                           
The Index opened up  at  5,576.95 and finally closed at 5,633.95 rallying up 92.35 points (1.67%) The Intraday high and low of the day were 5,642.20 and 5,567.10  respectively.


The Nifty Futures also made an down rally of 92.35  
points or (1.67%)and finally settled at 5,633.95.The 30-share BSE Sensex was trading at 18,722.30  up +286.11 points.

Indian market extended those early morning gains into mid afternoon trade; thanks largely to a worldwide rally after European Union leaders announced a new rescue package for Greece and  sentiments supported by media reports that US President Barack Obama is close to reaching an agreement with the House Republicans on the debt ceiling issue.
 
The top gainers include Oil & Gas, IT, Banking, Capital Goods and  Auto indices. Metals, Power and Pharma indices are the other notable gainers. The Consumer Durables index is the only loser, down 0.5%. The Realty index is also under-performing the rest of the indices.
In upcoming trading session market market can be expected to follow uptrend after some correction in the early session on monday. Seems to be strongly trades between 5600 5660  in  narrow perspective and in broad perspective it seems to be vary between 5560 - 5695
