Technical analyst Sudarshan Sukhani says that nifty has the potential to lead in this week's . Hopefully this week may be in the range of Nifty 4800-4950.
According to Sudarshan Sukhani Nifty range of 4800-4950 during the fall can be a shopping strategy.
STOCK MARKET REVIEW: 25TH MAY 2012
BSE Small-Cap index was up 0.53% while the BSE Mid-Cap index finished 0.44% up.CNX MIDCAP 50 index was up 0.59% and S&P CNX 500 was up around 0.15%. The SENSEX closed 4 points down at 16,217 and the NIFTY stood at 4920, down by 1 points.BSE SENSEX and NIFTY traded in a volatile session on FRIDAY, ended almost flat just down by 4 and 1 point respectively after a sharp rally seen on THURSDAY boosted by hike in petrol prices. Recovery in Indian Rupee and positive opening of European markets shed the losses in second half trading session. However banking and Auto stocks traded mix as banking major State Bank of India and HDFC Bank rose 1.7 percent and 0.26 percent respectively while ICICI Bank went down by 0.50 percent. Auto sector giant Tata Motor, Heromoto climbed 1 percent each while M&M and Maruti fell 2 percent.

GAIL changed 3.70% with 9, 03,098 volumes
JPASSOCIAT changed 2.94% with 1, 83, 93,550 volumes
TATASTEEL changed 2.66% with 40, 00,538 volumes

Today’s nifty top losers were
JINDALSTEEL with volume 11, 98,232 and changed -2.58%
MARUTI with volume 9, 21,129 and changed -2.32%
M&M with volume 10, 87,946 and changed -2.10%
